This Warp sounded a hell of a lot like what lie beyond the outer gates. Even seeking the things that lived there was a violation of the Laws of Magic- and those laws are all capital crimes.
I couldn't really fault them, either. I'd only ever encountered one thing that lived out there. His name was He Who Walks Behind, and to this day, there's a stain on my soul with his name on it.
